The beautiful, artisan crafted hotel was originally built as a family home and was

converted into a hotel 20+ years ago.

With only four large rooms, all above the sea, Casa Acuario will make you feel

as if you have found your home away from home. Each room has been carefully

 designed to ensure our guests have everything they need during their stay.

     From 100% cotton sustainable sheets & towels to locally made reef safe soap to

low lit lanterns & white noise machines you will find thoughtful touches that all have the

guest & environment in mind.

Each room comes equipped with new energy efficient A/C, Smart TV, free WiFi,

newly renovated private bathrooms and showers, kitchenettes with a mini fridge,

microwave, electric stove top, cooking utensils and triple filtered

rain water collected on site for drinking.

Honor system guest fridge offering wine, beer, hard seltzer, kombucha,

fresh coconut water on tap, and soda water.

All rooms have hardwood floors and french doors opening out to your own private patio.

Enjoy a well deserved beverage while lounging in your hammock and looking at the

turquoise water or dive right in and swim with all the sea life that has given

Casa Acuario (Aquarium House) its name.

Amazing property in the perfect location, only $1 boat taxi ride from the hotel to the main Bocas Town. Great amenities including free kayaks and paddle boards. The hosts were super accommodating and let us check in a couple hours early since we got there earlier than the check in time. Great breakfast at the hotel as well! drinks and water available. Drinking water provided in the room. Beautiful views that you won’t regret! It felt like we were staying in Bali!!
There’s a bunch of lovely dogs on the property which is also a plus!

Mandy and JP did an amazing job to make our stay as relaxing and comfortable as possible and they were successful. The rooms are great, spacious and cozy, direct access to the water to jump in in the morning (even from the 2nd floor, if you dare to). Excellent breakfast, great company (humans and dogs). Sure 10 out of 10 points, even if you are not a member of the surfing crowd.
